The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board administers the no fault worker’s insurance program to cover workplace injuries on the job, arising out of or in the course of employment. Appeals are handled through Workplace Safety and Insurance Tribunal.
This Appeal Tribunal has developed its own set of rules and case precedent that are sometimes quite different than that in the personal injury litigation in courtrooms.
